Create, edit or delete a Pocket profile

The Pocket app is not yet available everywhere. If it is available for you, some features may not yet be available in your area.
To use the Pocket app, you’ll need to sign in with an existing Meta account or create a new one.
Create a Pocket profile with a Meta account
To sign into Pocket using an existing Meta account:
- Download and open the Pocket app from your mobile app store.
- Tap Get started. Tap your existing account.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to log into your Meta account.
- Once you’ve logged in with your Meta account, you’ll be asked to create a Pocket username and provide your name.
To create a new Meta Account and sign into Pocket:
- Download and open the Pocket app from your mobile app store.
- Tap Get started.
- Enter your mobile number or email address and tap Continue.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create your Meta Account.
- Once you’ve logged in with your Meta account, you’ll be asked to create a Pocket username and provide your name.
How your Pocket username and your name appear on Pocket
- Your Pocket username is how you show up on Pocket.
- Your name is shown in your Pocket profile page to other people on Pocket. Learn more about what profile information can be seen by other people on Pocket.
Edit an existing Pocket profile in the Pocket app
To edit your Pocket profile:
- From the Pocket app, tap
Profile.
- Tap Edit Profile.
- From here, you can change your profile picture, name, username, and bio.
- Once you’ve made changes, tap Save.
Delete a Pocket profile
To delete your Pocket profile, you’ll have to delete your Meta account. Learn how to delete your Meta account here.
