Meta Quest 3S has a sensor lock, which means the headset cameras and microphones will only be turned on when you press the power button. Meta Quest 3S does not have an auto-wake or wear detection feature that will turn on your headset when you put it on. You always need to press the power button to turn on your headset.
In rare cases during boot-up, you may see a screen with an animated power button on it, along with instructions to press the power button to enable the cameras and microphones. This graphic is just a reminder that you need to press the power button to turn on your headset.
