Join a cast started from an organization-managed Meta Quest
This article is for people who are using a device that’s managed by an organization, not for people casting from a personal device.
To join a cast started by someone in your organization, you need:
- The URL for the cast, given by the person who’s casting. All casts in your organization are streamed to the same URL.
- The code to access the cast on this URL.
- To use a supported web browser, such as Google Chrome.
The URL and code will work for as long as the cast lasts. If either the URL or code doesn’t work, this may be because the cast ended before you joined.
15 people can be invited to view a cast from 1 headset.
Leave a cast
To leave a cast you’re viewing in a web browser, click Leave cast in the top right, then confirm. Alternatively, you can close your browser window.
Note: If you are using an organization-managed Meta Quest, then you cannot contact support. However, you can report a problem on your device, which creates a bug report for your admin to review.
