Updated: To transfer photos and videos from your organization-managed device to your Windows computer:
- Connect your Meta Quest headset to your Windows PC using a USB-C or Quest Link cable.
- If you’re using a USB-C cable, then check it’s designed for data transfer. Some USB-C cables are only used for charging.
-
In your headset, select
Allow
when prompted, to allow your computer to access the photos and videos in your headset.
- If you can't see the prompt that lets you allow the connection in your headset, check your notifications by selecting the bell icon on the universal menu.
- Follow any prompts on your PC to allow file sharing to the Meta Quest headset.
-
On your PC, using File Explorer, navigate to:
- This PC\[Your Device]\Internal shared storage\Oculus\VideoShots for videos
- This PC\[Your Device]\Internal shared storage\Oculus\Screenshots for images
- Note: Do not move or remove files in other folders from your device because this may prevent your device from working properly.
- From there, you can copy files from your Meta Quest to a preferred location on your computer.
Note: If you are using an organization-managed Meta Quest, then you cannot contact support. However, you can report a problem on your device, which creates a bug report for your admin to review.
