Unsnap facial interface from your Meta Quest 2

Slip silicone cover over the facial interface ensuring it properly covers the facial interface.

To re-install, snap the plastic back in at the top (above lenses) and bottom (at nose bridge) of the facial interface.

Easy to clean

Unsnap facial interface from your Meta Quest 2.

Remove silicone cover from facial interface.

Wash silicone cover with warm water and rinse with clean water. You can also use rubbing alcohol.

Do not use disinfectant wipes, soap or any other cleaning product as these may cause severe irritation.

Dry silicone cover and follow installation instructions to re-install on to your Meta Quest 2.

- Do not use the Meta Quest 2 Silicone Cover on broken skin.
To avoid transferring contagious conditions (like pink eye), do not share the headset or the Meta Quest 2 Silicone Cover with persons with contagious conditions, infections, or diseases, particularly of the eyes skin or scalp.
The Meta Quest 2 Silicone Cover should be cleaned between each use following the cleaning instructions.
Do not use the Meta Quest 2 Silicone Cover if it does not cover the whole of the facial interface or if it is broken or damaged. If this is the case, please contact Oculus Support.
Ensure that you use the correctly sized Meta Quest 2 Silicone Cover for your facial interface. If you have an Meta Quest 2 Fit Pack, you can identify the correct Meta Quest 2 Silicone Cover by looking for the embossed “N” or “W”.

Oculus has recently taken actions in response to a small percentage of users reporting a skin irritation where the foam portion of the Meta Quest 2 facial interface rests on the skin. As a result, we are now offering this free silicone cover to Meta Quest 2 headset, Meta Quest 2 facial interface accessory and Meta Quest 2 Fit Pack owners who are either affected or may just want one to cover the foam facial interface. See above for more product information as well as how to request one. Please do not throw away or dispose of your removable foam facial interface as the silicone cover is placed on top of / covers the foam interface.

We are working to create specific silicone covers that work with the alternative (wide / narrow) facial interfaces that come as part of the Fit Pack. As you go through the silicone cover redemption process, you can indicate you purchased a Fit Pack and these covers will ship separately when they become available. They will be free and available to anyone who has purchased a Fit Pack.

What headsets does the Meta Quest 2 Silicone Cover work on?

The Meta Quest 2 Silicone Cover works only on Meta Quest 2. It is not compatible with other Oculus headsets.
