Manage the email address associated with your Meta account

There are several ways you can manage email addresses associated with your Meta account. You can:

  • Add a new email address to connect to your Meta account
  • Connect an existing email address to your Meta account
  • Delete an email address associated to with your Meta account

Add a new email address

To add a new email address to connect to your Meta account:

Desktop
Mobile browser
Meta Horizon app
Meta Quest
  1. Log into Accounts Center using your Meta account information.
  2. Click Personal details on the left, then click Contact Info.
  3. Click Add new contact, then select Add email.
  4. Enter your email address, then select the accounts you want to add this email to and click Next.
  5. Enter the confirmation code we sent to your email, then click Next.
  6. Click Close.

Connect an existing email address

To connect an existing email address to your Meta account:

Meta Quest
  1. Log into Accounts Center using your Meta account information.
  2. Click Personal details on the left, then click Contact Info.
  3. Click the email address you want to connect to your Meta account.
  4. Click Add to another account.
  5. Select your Meta account, then click Next.
  6. Enter the confirmation code we sent to your email, then click Next.
  7. Click Close.

Delete an email address

If you want to delete an email address associated with your Meta account, you may need to replace it with a new one if it’s your only contact method.

To delete an email address from your Meta account:

  1. Log into Accounts Center using your Meta account information.
  2. Click Personal details on the left, then click Contact Info.
  3. Click the email address you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete email, then click Delete.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to delete this email address.
