Add Meta Horizon followers

You can add followers by approving their requests, tapping Follow next to their profile or following people you may know.

Note: If you're 10-12 years old (age may vary by region) with a Meta account that's managed by your parent or guardian, you can manage your own follow requests. Your parent can choose to manage your follow requests.

To follow someone from your Meta Quest headset:

  1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select People.
  3. Select Chats, then select Search and enter a username or name.
  4. Select Follow.

To follow someone using the Meta Horizon mobile app:

  1. Open the Meta Horizon mobile app on your phone.
  2. Tap Horizon chat.
  3. Add followers by searching for new followers or confirming requests:
    • Tap Search at the top and enter a username or name to follow new people, then tap Follow.

To follow someone using the Meta Quest Link PC app:

  1. Open the Meta Quest Link PC app on your computer.
  2. Select Follow lists.
  3. Click Name or Username.
  4. Search by the person's name or username.
  5. Click Follow next to the profile you want to follow.
