Updated:10 weeks ago
When connected to a compatible Garmin device, you can track your snowboarding and skiing performance, capture your best moments automatically, and get real-time information about resort conditions, all hands free.

Track your snow sports stats
Ask Meta AI about your performance during or after your snow activity:
- Ski runs: "Hey Meta, how many runs have I skied today?"
- Vertical descent: "Hey Meta, how much vertical have I skied today?"
- Vertical ascent: "Hey Meta, how much have I climbed?" (great for backcountry skiing)
- Speed and G-forces: "Hey Meta, what was my max speed on my last run?"
- Slope grade: "Hey Meta, how steep was my last run?"
- Personal records: "Hey Meta, what's my longest ski run ever?"
Get resort and trail information
Stay informed about conditions without pulling out your phone:
- Lift status: "Hey Meta, how many lifts are open at Mammoth?"
- Trail conditions: "Hey Meta, is Brennan's Trail groomed today?"
- Weather: "Hey Meta, how much will it snow at Stevens Pass today?"
- Resort hours: "Hey Meta, what time does the resort close today?"

Tips for using AI glasses in cold weather
- Battery life: Cold temperatures may temporarily reduce battery life. For best performance, temperatures of 0°C (32°F) and above are recommended.
- Stay warm: Wearing a beanie, helmet, or balaclava can help insulate your glasses and maintain battery performance in temperatures below 0°C (32°F).
- Temperature alerts: If your glasses get too cold, you'll hear an audio alert. Move to a warmer area before continuing to use them.
- Charging: Charging may take longer in cold conditions. If the temperature drops below 0°C (32°F), charging pauses temporarily until the device warms up.
- Media import: Cold temperatures may affect when your captures import. Ensure your phone stays warm for reliable syncing. For best results, import your media and review overlays after returning to a warmer environment.
