Sync your Meta Horizon profile information

Syncing your profile information lets you use the same username, profile picture, and avatar across your Meta Horizon profile and Instagram or Facebook profile so long as the accounts are in the same Accounts Center.

If you change your name, username, profile picture, or avatar on Meta Horizon, Facebook or Instagram and have chosen to sync profile information, then it will change across all of those profiles. For example, if you update your profile picture on your Facebook profile, that picture will also update on your Meta Horizon profile.

To sync profile information using your Meta Quest:

  1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select Quick controls.
  3. Select Settings, then select your profile.
  4. Select Account Center, then select your Meta Horizon profile.
  5. Scroll and select your Meta Horizon profile again, then select the toggle next to Sync profile info to turn this feature on or off.
