Factory reset your organization-managed Meta Quest

This article is for people who are using a device that’s managed by an organization, not for people who want to factory reset a personal device.
Factory resetting a Meta Quest is irreversible and will remove all account information and content from the headset. Admins can also wipe or release devices.
If you need to factory reset your organization-managed device:
- Turn off your headset.
- Hold the power and volume (-) buttons simultaneously until the boot screen loads.
- Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset, then press the power button.
- Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes, then press the power button.
Note: If you are using an organization-managed Meta Quest, then you cannot contact support. However, you can report a problem on your device, which creates a bug report for your admin to review.
