Troubleshoot audio issues with your organization-managed Meta Quest

If you are not hearing any sounds while using a Meta Quest that’s managed by your organization – such as where you work or go to school – then try the following:

  • Close any apps you’re using in your headset.
  • Restart your headset.

It may also be worth checking the current software version of your Meta Quest:

  1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right Touch controller to open the universal menu.
  2. Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
  3. Select Settings in the top right.
  4. Select General, then select Software update.

You may be able to update your software, depending on settings chosen by your organization’s admins.

If needed, learn how to factory reset your organization-managed device.

Note: If you are using an organization-managed Meta Quest, then you cannot contact support unless you are an admin for your organization. However, you can report a problem on your device, which creates a bug report for your admin to review.
