Edit your Meta Horizon profile information

We’re gradually updating Accounts Center, which will enable your Meta Account to work across more products, if you choose. You may see either Accounts Center or Meta Account settings as the place to manage your settings. Learn more about updated Meta Accounts.

When you make a Meta Horizon profile, you'll create a name, username, avatar, bio and profile picture that are publicly visible and connected to your Meta Account.

You can change your information at any time. Remember, you can only change your username once every 6 months.

Note: The name and username on your Meta Horizon profile are not the same as your name for AI, devices and more. Learn more about how to change this name.

To change your profile information:

  1. Open the Meta Horizon app and tap your profile picture at the bottom.
  2. Tap Options.
  3. Tap Edit Profile.
  4. Edit your profile information, then tap Save.
  1. Log in to auth.meta.com.
  2. Click Other Settings in the left menu. This will open a new window.
  3. Click Edit next to the profile information you want to edit.
  4. Edit your profile information.
  5. Click Save, then click Confirm.
  1. Put on your headset, then press Oculus button / Meta button on your controller to open the Navigator.
  2. Select Settings, then select your profile photo.
  3. Select View profile, then select Edit profile.
  4. Edit your profile information, then select Save.
  1. Open the Meta Quest Link PC app on your computer and log in.
  2. Click Profile on the left.
  3. Click Edit next to the profile information you want to edit.
  4. Edit your profile information.
  5. Click Save, then click Confirm.

Sync with another profile

You can sync your Meta Horizon profile information with another profile, such as your Facebook or Instagram profile. You can choose to sync your name, username, profile picture and avatar.

After you sync your profiles, changes to your profile information appear across all your synced profiles. Learn how to sync profile information.
